A friend of mine is about to launch their updated WordPress site, and asked what steps they needed to do now. Here is what I recommended:
- Use Rank Math to build 301 redirects and connect any pages that have a new URL link. Don't loose that SEO juice!
- Submit your new XML sitemap in Google Search Console (via Rank Math). This roadmap of your website, to help search engines understand your site.
- Use this Ahrefs free tool to find broken links—and fix them ASAP!
- Test your loading speeds on Google Pagespeed Insights and GT Metrix (doesn't hurt to confirm your numbers on both).
2. How to Design a Website Button That Gets Clicked.
Your call to action buttons (CTA buttons) matter more than you realize. Andy Crestodina shared 7 best practices for your CTAs to keep you on the right track.
